The Magicard Enduro 3E takes advantage of Magicard’s unique upgrade abilities that allow it to be field upgraded to duplex printing in a matter of seconds. The Magicard Enduro 3E also features Magicard’s Unique HoloKote watermarking, optional encoding, and more.
Product Features
- Create more secure ID badges with built-in HoloKote
The Magicard Enduro 3E utilizes Magicard’s unique HoloKote technology. HoloKote technology is a card watermarking feature that allows you to print a watermark using the O panel of a standard color ribbon. This allows you to add a level of security to your cards without having to invest in expensive holographic laminates.
The HoloKote feature on the Enduro 3E comes standard with four designs: globes, keys, interlocking squares, and waves. When you opt to use Magicard’s HoloPatch cards, the water mark becomes a high-visibility security seal that looks similar to a holographic patch.
- Print batches or single cards
The Enduro 3E features a 100 card input hopper and a 30 card output hopper for batch printing, as well as a single-card feeder on the front to allow you to create convenient one-off prints. - Standard USB and Ethernet Connectivity
In addition to USB connectivity, the Enduro 3E also includes Ethernet connectivity. This allows for the printer to be shared among multiple users as well as making remote printing possible. - Card printing flexibility
The Magicard Enduro 3E offers complete flexibility for printing ID cards. It has the ability to print using standard direct-to-card printing (dye-sublimation) as well as the ability to print to thermal resin cards.
For use cases that require the frequent creation of temporary badges, a common technique is to use rewritable card stock. Using the Magicard 3633-3022, you can batch print a color design on one side of the cards using the standard color ribbon, remove the ribbon (no ribbon is needed with rewriting printing) and then use the rewrite feature and hand-feed slot to individually print, erase and update information on the other side. The end product is a professional looking card that can be reused.
- Optional dual-sided printing
The Magicard Enduro 3E can be field upgraded to dual-sided printing in the blink of an eye. The upgrade requires no special hardware and requires no tools. Upgrading to two-sided printing on the Magicard Enduro is as simple as dropping in a special YMCKOK (dual-sided) ribbon. The ribbon unlocks the dual-sided abilities of the Enduro 3E and from then on you can continue to use standard YMCKOK ribbons. - Optional Encoding
You can add magnetic stripe and/or smart card encoding to the Magicard Enduro 3E so that you can combine your card printing with other necessary applications such as time & attendance tracking, access control, and more!
Ideal Applications:
- Visitor and employee ID badges
- Corporate reception areas
